Will dosewell remind me even when the app is closed?

No. dosewell shows and can read out your doses only while the page is open on the screen. True background alarms that ring when the app is closed need a server and notifications, which are deliberately out of scope. Keep the page open, or use it alongside a phone alarm.

Is my medication list private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything you enter, including any pill photo, is saved only in your own browser on your own device. dosewell makes no network requests at all, so nothing about your medicines is ever sent anywhere.

Do I have to set exact clock times?

Accepted Answer

No. dosewell uses four simple day-parts — Morning, Noon, Evening and Night — because they are easier to read and remember than exact times. You choose which day-parts each medicine is for.

Question 4

Does the Taken button reset each day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every dose you mark as taken is recorded against today's date. When a new calendar day begins, the Today view starts fresh so you can track that day's doses.

Question 5

Can dosewell take a photo of my pill?

Accepted Answer

If your device has a camera and you allow access, dosewell can capture a photo of the pill or box and show it as a thumbnail next to the medicine, so it is easy to recognise. The photo is stored only in your browser. You can always skip the photo.
