How do I reconcile cash at a craft fair or weekly market stall?

Two physical counts: list what you carry out in the morning (item, quantity, unit price), then count what came back in the evening. Sold = carried − returned, expected takings = sum of sold × list price, and variance = what you actually hold (cash + digital payments) minus expected. stallpack does this arithmetic in exact paise and prints a checklist and day sheet.

Can stallpack tell me if money was stolen from my stall?

Accepted Answer

No, and it says so on the day sheet. Variance is pure arithmetic against list prices — discounts, haggling, freebies, breakage, miscounts and loss all look identical in the number. A negative variance means less money than list price would predict, nothing more. It is not theft detection.

How does the suggested pack quantity work?

Accepted Answer

It is a plain history lookup: your best day sold N of that item at that specific market, so N is suggested the next time that market comes around. It is not demand forecasting and there is no AI involved.
