Does vaxdue send my baby's health record anywhere?

No. vaxdue runs entirely in your browser and its Content-Security-Policy sets connect-src 'none', so the page physically cannot make a network request. Your child's name, date of birth, and ticked doses are saved only in your own browser's local storage.

How does vaxdue turn a date of birth into dates?

Each dose in the published IAP and Government NIS schedules has a due age, such as 6 weeks or 9 months. vaxdue adds that offset to the date of birth using calendar arithmetic that clamps month-ends and handles leap years, so every dose becomes a real calendar date with its acceptable window.

The problem

A wall chart says "6 weeks." It never says which Tuesday.

Every clinic wall chart lists doses by age—at birth, 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 9 months. A tired new parent is left to do the calendar arithmetic in their head: count six weeks off a birthday, remember which months have 30 days, then do it again for the next dose, and the next.
